Hudson Guild, a multi-service community agency serving those who live, work, or go to school in Chelsea and the west side, with a focus on those in need, has openings in its preschool programs and a location near PS 452. Description: Considering the incredible variety of student needs that parents and educators are managing, research indicates that stress levels are at an all-time high. Understanding the ripple effect of this stress and supporting each other with effective stress management strategies can be transformative in allowing adults to be at the best for students. This workshop provides attendees with research-based strategies for self-care, including monitoring strong emotional reactions, combatting de-motivating or stress-inducing thinking patterns, effective goal setting, coping skills that can be utilized, and incorporating mindfulness and relaxation techniques. This session is being offered in conjunction with the Child Mind Institute.
